• Copy, download, re-upload, translate, adapt or sell our content.
• Use our content in apps, websites, videos, books or AI training data.
• Scrape or automatically harvest content (including text and data mining – rights expressly reserved, § 44b UrhG / Art. 4(3) Directive (EU) 2019/790).

Public-domain heroes

Some of our stories feature characters from classic, public-domain literature and folklore (e.g. One Thousand and One Nights, Grimm, Andersen, Aesop, Collodi, Carroll, East Slavic and Turkish folk tales). Our stories about them are new and original, and all artwork is newly created in our own style. We do not use characters or designs owned by third parties (for example by Disney, Pixar or Marvel).

AI-assisted content – an honest note

Our content is created with the help of AI tools and then selected, edited and approved by people. Depending on the country, purely machine-generated material may receive limited or no copyright protection. We therefore document the human creative contributions (editing, selection, arrangement) and keep a provenance record for each asset. Independently of copyright, our terms of use, database rights and unfair-competition law protect our content.

Music

Background music is either created by us or used under a CC0 / royalty-free licence. Licence information for each track is recorded.

Our pages contain schema.org metadata (copyrightHolder, copyrightYear, license) stating these rights.
